Well what can we say apart from Brilliant! Sean and his team constructed a large extension to our existing house and from start to finish did a great job. From the start sean was thorough with the quote detailing all stages and cost, the time frame was spot on and met and the costing was accurate. In our many years of building experience CHI Construction have been without doubt the best construction firm we have engaged to work for us. We have had some very tricky technical issues with this latest project, none of which phased CHI Construction who swiftly brought solutions to the table, which were not only ingenious but well within the budget set. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody considering undertaking building works of any sort. It would be extremely unwise for anybody not to ask CHI Construction to quote for any project they are considering no matter the size.

We've used Churston Builders for 2 home projects recently, a new roof and new family bathroom. Both projects were reasonably priced and completed on schedule despite some inclement weather! The tradesmen were polite and tidy which made all the difference to having the house in turmoil. wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Couldn't be more helpful. The two members of staff that we met here were both helpful and polite. The cars are clean, new and obviously well looked after. We drove down a bit later than the office closing time and they waited for us as we needed to top up the fuel tank and then the paperwork was dealt with quickly and efficiently. We took some cards to place on our reception counter as we were so impressed.

Very good experience with Chief Vehicle Rentals, Paignton. The vehicle was immaculate inside and out. The inspection and operation was detailed and all questions answered. All the staff were welcoming and easy to talk to. A really easy and pain free experience and will certainly recommend them to anyone I know.

Jack fitted our bamboo floor, and I was very pleased with the result. I had been thinking of doing it myself (the basics aren't that difficult), but Jack made such a good job the final small details that really made a difference. Two years down the line, I'm still pleased with the floor. Jack is a polite and highly skilled craftsman. I'm very happy to recommend him.

My first experience of using Craig and Eclipse was around 5 years ago when needing to completely renovate my entire ground floor. My property is well over 130 years old and nothing was square or easy. This never deterred Craig but seemed to enthuse him. All work carried out was to an exceptional standard and my wife and I couldn't have been happier with the end result. Craig would always be on hand for advice and in fact still is to this day even though I'm asking for DIY help! We are just about to embark on a loft conversion in order to accommodate our growing family and we didn't hesitate for a second when checking Craig's availability to undertake the work. An outstanding individual who is genuinely running an outstanding company.

I honestly can not give this garage higher praise. I stupidly put water in my power steering, on a Saturday at the end of my holiday and needed to return to London, the manager stayed late and fixed my car. The service was brilliant and a great price. The manager was honest and friendly. Highly recommend using this garage.

Give Dr Bump a call and arranged to pop down to remove the damage on my Yaris's body lines. My experience was very positive. They were friendly and polite. John removed the damage to a high standard and finish was superb. You could not tell the original damage existed. Super pleased with the job. Took my 2005 Jaguar XK8 in to have the rusty areas around and behind the rear wheelarches treated. The guys did a fantastic job, cutting out a lot of badly rusted metal and welding in new sections. The repaired areas were resprayed and expertly blended into existing paintwork. Very happy with the result.

Don't usually do reviews but as a woman I'd like to say that Paignton body repair shop gave the best quote and not importantly kept to it. Very friendly staff and did a fantastic job. Sorted tricky locks on a very old vehicle of mine, there and then, with no bother at all, , one particular lock on the vehicle hadn't opened since 1999 !! And whilst all that was happening I watched a steady stream of other customers having their varied lock requirements dealt with quietly and efficiently all very impressive....

Took a door lock which was in a thousand pieces and within five mins it was put back together and working! Fantastic service. Can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you!

"TOWN HALL CAR PARK".....According to local sources this large, well used Public Car Park, will be developed into possible Student Accommodation Blocks, for up to 300 active, sociable foreign students, depending on costs and bank loans.....Viewing the area one can see that buildings all around are from 50ft to 120ft high, causing an "amphitheater effect", for any noise caused in this at present quiet night time area.....One can imagine students returning from leisurely activities such as night clubs, parties, late return home day trips, with coaches, mini buses.....Being a busy Public Car Park, vehicle owners will be forced to use the "ABBEY ROAD PUBLIC CAR PARK" which is not a secure location after 19:00hrs, is in definite need of replenishment, which has been seriously neglected for years and years and years......Building of the new student accommodation will take how long, cause how much noise, will effect how many of the local people, their business.....Perhaps an ideal location for such a project would be "CHURSTON GOLF COURSE AREA", where the area is open, with magnificent views, is well provided for by local public transportation.....where students can heartily shout all day long and party all night long....."TOWN HALL PUBLIC CAR PARK"......

Found DND online in desperation to find a way to unlock my 90s Toyota car stereo after forgetting the security code and needing to change the battery. I was very impressed with the wealth of information on the site including they had the exact model number with pictures of the right model. Paid the £9.99 and got an instant email about unlocking instructions. These did point out that some patience is needed. After 5 minutes and some fiddling , the instructions all worked perfectly and the radio is working again. Excellent service and great to see there are some reliable ‘old school’ technology experts still left. Great for car enthusiasts.

Very Professional, helpful and efficient company to deal with. After changing the battery the radio wouldn't work. DND talked us through what was required and rushed the media card through so we didn't have to make a long journey without a radio. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Can't fault them. Cut, rolled, and flared my arches beautifully when they shredded my tyres, and at short notice too. Then a fortnight later squeezed me in to respray and fit new panels after I had a slight crash. Quality work at a good price.

Chris was on time to collect my vehicle and carried out the valet to an extremely high standard and returned my vehicle to my home. Nothing seemed too much to ask for Chris. A well deserved 5* review from me and I will be using his services again

My BMW was in major need of a wash, inside and out. Chris did a great job, and for a reasonable price. Picked it up and returned it a couple of hours later looking and feeling like new! Thoroughly recommend :)

Phoned Coast computers this morning and now the computer is fixed and I am writing this review. Very happy with the service, from the initial phone call to the repair of my computer. The communications were excellent and very helpful. And equally as important the price was very reasonable. I am very happy with Coast Computers.

Fantastic! Alan came out on the same day and took a look at our tumble dryer. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and even offered advice on maintenance. Our dryer was fixed successfully and the charge was very reasonable. He will be hearing from us again, next time something goes pop.

I recently put an acquaintance of mine in touch with Award Refrigeration because they were having trouble with their Aircon unit. They'd already had some quotes to replace the unit but Andrew Ward's quote was more comprehensive and competitive so they chose to go with it. The install was done out of working hours, without mess or fuss and it was up and running within days of the initial enquiry being made. The client is very happy with the service and the product and I would have no hesitation in recommending Andy & his team to anyone needing assistance with their air conditioning and refrigeration needs.

We broke down with a fan belt issue on a Friday night and were recovered to our hotel in Paignton. Next day we bought a new fanbelt but asked Torbay Mobile Mechanics to fit it for us. They came that evening but on further inspection, it turned out the water pump had gone too, so they sourced a new one for our fairly rare vehicle and fitted it on the Monday to get us back on the road. Brilliant service at a reasonable price

He then booked us in within 2 days and completed the job early enough for us to go home. Would definitely recommend Avon Motors to anyone local or on holiday in need of a garage!!! I have one investment and two mortgages wth Daniel and I'm incredibly happy. Previous to using him I had one advisor claim I was unable to acquire a mortgage and another wanted an expensive upfront fee and suggested a worse product (over 3% 3 year fixed) opposed to better rates for longer fixed terms and lower product fees. My investment which may be his smallest on record has still performed fantastically well and his colleague Paul is excellent to deal with if Dan isn't available.

When dad died 20+ years ago he had stipulated that he wanted Maunders to take charge of the proceeding. Mum was adamant that when the time came she wanted the same as dad, sadly this occurred on 10th July. The standard of service has if anything improved from an already very high standard. The attention to detail was exemplary, communications were perfect and we always knew exactly where we were, this was particularly important as we live nearly 300 miles from where mum died! Had several hair cuts here and my bridal hair, clean but steep flight stairs to first floor level but is right in centre of pedestrianized Paignton. Friendly. Quite expensive. No direct parking but only a free kindred meters from s Torbay council car park.

Every staff member is very friendly and extremely talented. I would highly recommend. I have been using Abi Barber for a few years now a lot of time and effort goes into customer satisfaction.

When my man moved back to north east I used to go down on the train for my summer holidays. Loved this place and the clotted cream. Glad this landmark has been restored. Fond memories

I printed a ticket for the VIP parking on Victoria road for the Torbay Air Show. The library attendant was very helpful and quick to attend to me. She also had a very welcoming demeanour. I observed that the library is also being well utilised as compared to other small town libraries. The services being provided must be well tailored to the requirements of the customers.

"TORQUAY LIBRARY".....The Library has recently been privatised, with fewer staff, but those who remain are as helpful as ever....You can visit the library to read a book..... for educational swatting..... Use I.T. computers on line, WI FI for studying.....With a young persons safe play area.....loads of Lego.....Hire the latest D.V.D.'s..... A book area for teenagers..... comic books.....Lots of audio books......"TORQUAY LIBRARY"....." "PAIGNTON LIBRARY"...... is of a modern style.....has a coffee shop.....is usually open when " TORQUAY LIBRARY" is closed.......

Following an accident which resulted in my mum having a large hole in her plasterboard wall, I contacted R.Gwilliam and was quoted a very good price for the work to be completed. I was a little concerned that it would be ‘cheap and cheerful’, so when the work was finished in record time, I was astounded to see the level of professionalism. As my mum said, ‘ you won’t believe it, the hole has gone-I can’t see where it was!’ Highly recommended, I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again.

Richard has just finished painting the exterior of our house and replacing the facia boards, they have done a wonderful job, I would highly recommend them to anybody, once again thank you Richard and Neil for a marvelous job.

Google has been asked to remove the two nonsensical comments, but has yet to respond. Steve Kaye is an excellent, conscientious Decorator, very highly thought of in Torbay. Unfortunately, sometimes the competition feels it necessary to slander such professionalism.

I hired Chelston Decorators to carry out a full refurbishment of my property in Torquay. They showed true professionalism from start to finish. I couldn't rate them highly enough.

A very easy person to work with in regard to making arrangements for a house based shoot of a very special family occasion. Pleasant to work with she was organised and organising but appeared relaxed and unhurried all the time despite the pressures of the session being just 2 days pre-Christmas. Excellent results.

George was a delight to work with and was both personable and professional when taking photos for me. He captured everything that I had envisaged as well as suggesting new approaches to the photography we hadn't yet considered.

It's always a pleasure to work with George. Having worked on multiple interior and architectural shoots to date, I'm always incredibly impressed with the quality of his work and his architectural roots have also given him a fantastic eye for detail.

Rubbish

I phoned Bay Skips for some advice on a skip. The staff were polite and gave good advice. I got the skip delivered the following day and the driver was polite and very helpful. The skip was placed were I wanted and when full was collected the after I called to tell it was ready for collection. I would recommend this company as they deliver in every way.

What a great professional removal company this is. Tony and his team of 3 guys were super efficient, very careful but also speedy, and couldn’t do any wrong in my eyes. On arrival at our new house, they then put all the boxes and furniture in all the rooms that were labelled, or, where I instructed them to, and my fussy ways did not phase them at all. All done with a smile too, well done boys, would definitely recommend this company.

Go here over Domino's!!! The pizza is delicious with lots of choice, £6 for a 12" too! Such better quality and value than Domino's or other chains. Also doing a great deal of 3 sides for £4 with a pizza. We had 2 large pizzas, wedges, chicken strips and popcorn chicken for £15

I needed to arrange a taxi for my daughter so I emailed happycabbytaxis.co.uk to enquire about a price for a taxi between Totnes Railway Station and Slapton Ley during April 2016. A guy called Steve promptly replied with price and offered a discount for pre-booking. After a few days I contacted Steve again to book the trip and Steve was very helpful and offered to have a board ready with my daughter’s name on as she came off the train. My daughter ended up catching an earlier train so she called Steve to say she would be arriving half an hour early than planned. Steve said no problem and was there to pick her up. My daughter said the half hour drive down to Slapton was very good and Steve was really nice. I would 100% recommend Happy Cabby and will definitely use them again.

I had to change my veterinary surgeon due to them not doing local Dentistry. I decided to use Green Bay. Top class service and my dog is so much happier now she's had her bad teeth removed! She had her check and her up both in the same day. Would use them again and would definitely recommend.

We have had a level of care and service you don't find very often and will be forever thankful for the help that everyone at the Torquay branch has given us. Our Cat TJ turned diabetic and after 6 months we now find out his condition is cause by a brain tumour (operable thankfully). If not for the help, support, and the vets being thorough we would never have got to where we are now. We cannot thank them or recommend them enough.
